Hallo, there!
You've found your way to the introduction to the faction known as Blessed that resides on Sanctuary, PWI. Here, you'll find an outline of our ideals and goals as a faction, to give you an idea of what kind of faction we are and strive to be.
Simply put, we're a faction that was formed on the following details:
That said, we mean no offense to any other factions, as we'd not presume to make judgments against them. These thoughts were formed based on personal experiences and instances related by trusted people, but we won't be naming names.
It's true that Blessed is likely a very different kind of faction; somewhat aberrant in its methods. Therein lies our uniqueness and it is our hope that people in desire of something different will find their way to us.
In its most ideal state of being, Blessed--as a faction--shuns the concepts of taking advantage of lower leveled players, blatant KSing (killstealing) without a care and unnecessary rudeness. Certainly, there's such a thing as accidental KSing, but the ideal Blessed member would apologize and, when possible, offer to compensate the wronged party in a fashion appropriate to the situation.
Due to my own personal views, within the Blessed faction, I believe there's also a strong streak of desire to see justice done, as well. It's my opinion that the weak and unaware should be protected from the predators of the game, as it can seriously hinder one's enjoyment of the game. Those that cannot do for themselves should be done for--and Blessed would like to be the faction that actualizes that concept.
Though many believe us to be a Christian-based faction, due to the fact that many fail to consider that "blessed" has a >secular< meaning, we aren't based around any one faith and, indeed, accept and welcome all--so long as tolerance/acceptance/coexistence is observed, at all times.
Our goals are simply put, but more difficult to achieve. We hope to, one day, become an established name within the halls of Sanctuary--but, to reach that point with our dignity, self-respect and personal ethic codes in tact.
At the moment, we're still in a growing phase. But, as we grow, with more players of quality gained, we become stronger and are able to set a good example for others. Should our members be committed and loyal to our cause--not by force, but by choice--we can eventually become a force with which to be reckoned...and more stable, as we've built on a solid foundation of trust, friendship and determination. We can blaze new territory, proving that other, kinder ways are viable methods for succeeding within the game.
If this resonates positively with you, at all, we would like to welcome you to our ever-growing ranks. If you're not currently a member of Blessed, please take note of our Executors and other officers listed for your convenience at the top left-hand of this forum. Getting in touch with any of these people will help us to invite you to become part of something that will be ground-breaking. All it takes is a little patience and belief that a better way exists.

Simply put, we're a faction that was formed on the following details:
- We were tired of the way a great majority of factions are run on PWI-- full of people who ignore/ridicule/bully lower leveled members/characters and prize level above quality of character and intelligence.
- We longed for a good, solid group of people who enjoyed talking and having a good time, laughing with each other and supported one another--not because they had to, but because they wanted to.
- We felt that it was possible to form a formidable faction with kinder methods and, in fact, due to the pleasant nature of the faction, it would be stronger and full of more loyalty than can be bought or garnered by bullying.
- We long for an environment in which tolerance, acceptance and coexistence are promoted, embraced and practiced. We attempt to avoid any hint of drama before it begins; preferably by talking things out, sensibly and calmly.
